Not exactly on the animation side of things but still great news, I have recently been informed that an experimental video I did in 2007 with two friends, Juliana Andrade and Rodrigo Moreira, is part of the official selection of the 2008 Vivo arte.mov New Media Arts Festival in Brazil.
The short 'As vezes, num dia de chuva', mixing live action footage with excerpts from poems of celebrated Portuguese writer Fernando Pessoa, was one of the 39 shorts selected out of a total of 625 submitted works. The video can be seen on the festival website: http://www.artemov.net
